This is quite the generalization Ruth. I very much doubt that this is
what most whites talk about at the laundramat, even in New Jersey.
Certainly, there are some whites who talk badly about Mexican
immigrants -- just as there are some Mexican immigrants who talk badly
about whites.

Bottlon line Ruth is that Mexicans seem to be coming over by the
hundreds of thousands from Mexico. And the majority white population
of the United States is tolerant enough to allow this to happen. The
French wouldn't allow this to happen and they have a socialist
government. So I don't understand your pot shot at "Republicans".
All Republicans do is try to improve the climate for business so that
business can create jobs. So the Mexicans can thank the
Republicans, who have improved the business climate so much in the
United States, that the Mexicans are willing to leave their homeland
by the hundreds of thousands to come here for the jobs and lifestyles
which are available here.

And while it may seem to you and to me that many of the Mexicans who
come here do not earn much money -- to them it's a lot more money and
a better life than they left behind. And word gets back and hundreds
of thousands of additional Mexicans are jumping at the bit to come
over.

There is racism in this country. To deny that would be to deny
reality. However, there is racism in every country. But in our favor,
I think there is less racism in the United States than just about any
other country on the face of the earth. There is not another country
with a majority white population that is more willing to open itself
up to those of other races and other ethnicities than the United
States. And there is not a non-white majority country with an
advanced economy that is willing to open itself up and accept
so many of different races and ethnicities.

In light of all that, I don't think the majority white population of
the United States ought to be criticized. Instead I think they ought
to be praised. Because there isn't a majority population of any other
country that has done more to bring opportunity and prosperity and
freedom and happiness to minorites than have the majority white
population of the United States. Let's keep things in perspective.
