all of life is a paradox, Ruth-why not? Stevie and Clarence look like
they just got back from an Italian wedding in the Hammersmith DVD, and
Bruce looks like he just crawled out of a dumpster (or at least his
hat did). Or Steve and Clarence are Bruce's bodyguards or escorts,
without whom he'd be minced meat in the Real World, or his legitimate
business partners who go in to the meetings with the bank presidents.
He NEEDS those guys, with his whole life. pimp-whore-who's for sale/
