Re: nbc Ya gotta love those despicable fucks at the UN nbc

Joe,
When has the Human Rights Council been anything but a joke. This is nothing
new. Besides, look at how many violators of human rights we support,
whether implicitedly or overtly.

Well, here's another one for ya to yawn about :-)

Looks like Human Rights Watch is tellin' the UN to stop obsessing
about Israel and get out there and protect some human rights where
they're really in jeoprady.

Here's some quotes from Human Rights Watch...

"If the Human Rights Council FAILS AGAIN to address human rights
crises beyond those involving Israel, its credibility may be damaged
beyond repair."

"In its meetings to date, the council has adopted THREE RESOLUTIONS on
human rights abuses and violations of humanitarian law BY ISRAEL, but
HAS IGNORED the responsibilities and roles of other parties in the
Middle East, including Hezbollah and Palestinian armed groups, who
have committed violations. IN TAKING A ONE-SIDED APPROACH, THE COUNCIL
HAS FAILED IN ITS DUTY to act to protect the rights of all citizens in
the region."

In anticipation of Laurie's potential inquiry, this organization has
no connection to Jews or the State of Israel. It's made up of human
rights advocates from many nations around the world.

Nice to see that Human Rights Groups are finally catching up with me
when it comes to the high ground on the Palestinian/Israel issue :-)
