OMG! Diminishing the quality?
The running time on each disc is under 2 hours. There's no reason in
the world each disc couldn't fit on a dvd5 and there is no loss of
quality. These weren't transferred from some super HiDef recording

Shabbydog put them on DVD9s for a reason, and yes even though they fit on
a DVD 5, if you re-encode these files and you don't know what you are
doing(which most don't) the quality will suffer.

Also, I actually have a copy of your NTSC version of Verona,
I got it for a friend and I must say you did do a very good job with the
conversion. I did see some quality loss, but it was minimal compared to
many PAL to NTSC conversions I have seen over theyears.

I couldn't see any difference running them on my PC. Of course the whole
point of creating the NTSC version was I couldn't play it on my TV so I
couldn't A/B on that so I'll take your word for it. Out of curiosity, do
you have a progressive scan set up?
