Re: Q's about buying concert tickets on Ebay (poss. BC)

What assurance do you have as that guy you just bought two from
disappears in to the night outside the venue? <<

BTW, to add to your point, I would say never, ever buy Ticketfast
tickets from someone on the street. That is a license to get ripped
off. And in most cases, I even recommend to people today that they
shouldn't buy tix on the street at all for a hot event unless they are
really up on detecting fakes.

With all the events I go to, I have personally still not used a
Ticketfast ticket. I don't want to pay TM and I also like a hard
ticket so I always will call the tickets if it's at the last moment.

Yes, but if they were hard tickets that's one thing. She was asking
specifically about Ticketfast tickets, which can be sold multiple
times. Of course, hard tickets can be countefeited as well but that is
rarer because that takes some skill. Ticketfast any unscrupulous
person can rip people off with no effort.

I think we need to distinguish between buying them on the street
outsude the show and buying them through eBay, where there is a
feedback system that tends to police itself.

Sure, you can get ripped off on eBay...but you can get ripped off most
anywhere. If a seller has a good feedback rating and everything seems
above board, the chnaces are high that it is. What assurance do you
have as that guy you just bought two from disappears in to the night
outside the venue?

If you're worried about getting ripped off, but them right from
Ticketmast...uhhh, well...
