Does David think that cheating on a spouse is ok?
Should true love be denied simply because of a contractual obligation?
Let's say, just for argument's sake, that there is an All Mighty. And let
us also presume that, in His or Her ultimate wisdom, there is just one true
love created for each of us and that the All Mighty intended each of us to
couple with our one true love. Being human beings, however, we are fallible
and prone to error when it comes to matters of the heart. Should we remain
committed to our errors, even if our errors are possibly in direct
opposition to the fate the All Mighty intended for us?
I say cheating on a spouse can be the best thing that ever happened. I
admit that human beings continue to be prone to errors, and we should not
frivolously betray the promises we've made. But if you want to be someplace
else with all your heart, you're not doing anyone any favors by sticking
around.
