Re: (NBC) Nero 7 Essentials?

I did, and it wont play at all. Tried different media (+RW) and a
different burner (my Sony portable) and got the same results - perfect
picture but no sound (at 1X).

I guess it *could* be the file. But it seems odd that I have sound at
this 1.5X fast forward...

Thanks Steve...that worked.

But now I have a DVD with no sound. I *do* get audio from the disc
when I play it at 1.5X fast forward, but obviously that's no good.

That is odd! Usually, I think, this is a symptom of not having the right
codec installed. But before we go there, are there any other DVD players you
could try this disc on?

Both the burner and stand-alone player have been working properly up to
now. Any clues? I'm using Fuji -R media.

Good timing - I need some help please....

After my Roxio product starting acting up, I picked up Nero 7 Ultra.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to do something as simple
as burning a viewable DVD with a Video_TS file that I have downloaded.
The help files aren't anywhere to be found. I'm Google-ing the
question with no success. It's got to be simple. Can anyone help?

File > New

In the New Compilation dialog, select DVD-Video, then click on the New
button.

This opens the Nero drag-and-drop interface, with two folders
automatically
created, AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. The VIDEO_TS folder should be open. Drag
and
drop all your VOB, IFO, and BUP files into the VIDEO_TS folder. Then
click
on Burn.

Eight minutes later, you should have a watchable DVD.

Steve
