Re: NBC.....Need help burning .ISO files

I did the shrink thing for haha's....
Yep the quality shrunk and came up with a error at the end of the burn....
(no big deal)
It did make a folder with all the info needed to burn again possible with
Nero Rom (DVD-Video)....

I have Alcohol 120 stored somewhere but NEVER used it......
Will Alcohol compress and let it fit on a "normal" dvd-r (+/-)????

Or should I still make an attemp to burn with dual layer??? (with Nero 6)

And should I burn DVD-Rom (ISO), DVD-Rom (UDF) or DVD-Rom (UDF/ISO)

My guess would be DVD-Rom (ISO)....

Thanks....

Rick

(Just wondering......I'm not to familiar with dual layer but will (or
should) it play on my standalone (it's about 3 years old and it was farly
cheap at the time ($60) and it play PAL also....

I do know that my burner is definately good to burn dual layer....

Easiest solution would be DVD Shrink. Google it and you will find it. But
the quality will suffer. Go buy a dual layer disc if your burner supports
it. It is an image file. Load image with Alcohol 120% and burn with DVD
Shrink. Nero will burn dual layer discs if you can do that.

Why not just burn with Alcohol 120?

I have downloaded a (2) DVD movie...each disk separately containing .rar
files....

I extracted the files and the result was a .ISO file which contain (2)
folders
(1) Audio_TS and (1) Video_TS for each disc

I've burned plenty of dvd's before but never a .ISO file...

I believe .ISO files are images of the dvd that was copied....correct me
if I'm wrong...

I use Nero 6 with all the updates.....

The problems seems to be that the size of the .iso files are over 4.7g
(try nearly 7g)

I need to burn these because I've been downloading for nearly a day and
a half...

I tried DVD Decrypter and that came up with a error when I near
completetion of the burn
even though I have quit a bit of crap on the dvd.....

I've googled but maybe missed something....

I feel confident that there are a few experts out there that may be able
to solve this problem...

Thanks...
Rick
