Can you say what you didn't like about it, without giving spoilers? My
brother and sister-in-law just saw it- he liked it better than she did
but neither one had much to say about it. "Boring" was the word that
kept coming back.
Long. Very long. And no chemistry between Clark and Lois ( this new guy
is cute but is about as charismatic as my really really boring secondary
dog) And Kevin Spacey could have been truly great but he was reigned in
a bit. Not a whole lot of plot. Holes in what little plot there was.
There were some pretty cool things...very exciting plane crash ( will
make you never want to fly with a space shuttle on top of you again)
sequence . There are some cute parts. I can imagine the sequel could be
good...Singer needs to stop being so reverent about the Donner pictures
and just let 'er rip.
Although if I seem to remember correctly, lots of
people had the same complaints about the first Christopher Reeve movie
too. That one IS wonderful, but it could have used about 20 minutes
trimmed off of it.
I was never crazy about it. Or any of them actually. But I was watching
the first one on TV today and it certainly sparkled more than this one.
I want a smart Superman movie. I do . I also want one with Lori Lemer in
it. I think I may be the only person who remembers her.
Oh dear, maybe I imagined her?
