Ok remorse is probably too strong a word, but when you have been kicked
to the curb by your fan base for some flippant stage comments.....a
base that took you a decade to cultivate.....it appears pretty dumb in
retrospect. More assinine is rubbing it back in three years later and
calling your fans a bunch of rednecks, which I'm pretty sure I heard
her say in the 60 minute interview.

I agree, it's pretty dumb that a large portion of a band's fanbase
would kick that band to the curb because of a single flippant political
stage comment. And I know I certainly wouldn't be bending over
backwards to try and win back the favor of a bunch of people who burned
my records and threatened my life simply because they disagreed with my
opinion of a terrible president.

And with a rub-it-in-their-faces album that has sold over 500,000
copies in its first week, they certainly don't seem to be hurting from
lack of support from those people.
