This is the reason, for the record, that I don't go to church. No
reason for innocent bystanders to get caught in the holy cross-fire.
True story, I transcribed the ER report, and it is one of my favorite
patient tales ever- A local woman here was struck by lightning while
hanging clothes on her clothes line- one of those two pole arrangements
with the string in between. She was wearing an underwire bra at the
time. From the burns, it was apparent that the lightning struck her
chest area, traveled downward, wound around her legs and exited her
ankles. We like to say it must have been an uplifting experience ;-)
