Isn't Orion only visible during the winter? Not that I haven't gone
camping in the winter, but I'm from Florida. Maybe Bruce's character is
from Florida, too. Still, I bet it was pretty cold out there with only
a spark of the campfire left burning. And who wants to go camping in
the cold and sleep on the hard ground when you're pregnant?
To be fair, the narrator is "out 'neath the arms of Cassiopeia", near
to where the sword of Orion sweeps. Cassiopeia is visible year round in
the Northern hemisphere.
