One of my Fraternity brothers and best friends from college beat cancer
once (lymphatic leukemia) and I just got the call that he's no longer
in remission and is being sent to Beth Israel for a bone marrow
transplant - They expect him to be in isolation for a couple of months
with limited visitors, but the prognosis isn't very good. What started
off as a glorious beautiful day now has the dark gloomy cloud over it
and talking to my dog isn't doing much good....Any little prayers for
my friend would be appreciated....
I will most certainly keep both you and your friend in my thoughts, and hope
things turn out much better than either of you can imagine. In the
meantime, keep talking to your dog, as that never hurts, either. (hugs,
too)
Karen
