Democrat, Republican, Kucinichan - whatever. Who's got a plan for New
Orleans and this country's presidency that involves something other
than
bitching and moaning for the next 3 years while our money is pissed
away
arguing over who's at fault for what? What's next?

Well it wouldn't hurt to listen to John Edwards. He is talking about
poverty in America and whole classes of people falling behind. Poverty
levels are up for the last four years in a row. The current
administration is of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich, and that
becomes more and more apparent with each passing day. If we don't
balance out some of the excesses of our economy, where all the tax
breaks and all the regulations are fixed to benefit the rich and the
powerful, we will be in serious trouble before to long. The game is
being increasingly rigged to favor those in high places and the folks
way below are falling further and further behind.
To start to reverse the mess we're in now we've got to roll back the
policies of the last four years giving big business everything they
want. Perhaps the most important thing of all is to put the pressure
on our elected officials to GET THE BIG MONEY OUT OF POLITICS. Our
government is bought and paid for, ON BOTH SIDES, by the wealthy
elites. Campaign finance reform with teeth is imperative if we are
going to get our country back. The Fortune 500 are doing great under
George W. Bush, but the unfortunate 50 million on the bottom are only
getting poorer.
