Ah, we've been waiting for you.
There was a silent thread for the victims of the hurricane.
Many people in this group came together as group members - as people,
independent of ideology - to acknowledge a tragedy.
Where was Rev?
Bill Longyard?
"Winston Smith"?
"Keri Larkin"?
"Able Danger"?
You were sick in bed, hm?
Then you reappear, and your FIRST post on the topic is political. That's
because you don't care about anything in this group unless it's
political. And that makes you a partisan, bloviating, ideological waste
of everyone's time.
There are many dangerous things floating in the waters of New Orleans
right now - waters that might not have been there had funds for levee
maintenance not been diverted to Iraq - but none of them are as toxic as
you.
(And in saying the above, I'd like to acknowledge and thank Joe for
starting that thread. In my estimation, he's part of the reality-based
world, and he's particularly aware of the difficulty law enforcement will
have dealing with New Orleans in the foreseeable future. We may disagree
on a *lot* of things and draw conclusions differently, but he's paying
attention to the world around him, and that counts for a lot with me.)
