Hmm. Maybe you should start off your day with some better music.
Perhaps "The Spirit of Radio." :)

Sounds like fun, as long as you can get through the actual conference!
Usually, I hate that kind of thing...last week's wasn't too bad (because I
won stuff), but too much time wasted on advertizing rather than just showing
us the software and what it can do.

I've heard that LA traffic is the worst in the country, and if that's
true, I'm glad I don't work there! I would go nuts. I hate Chicago because
of the traffic. It's bad enough where I live, and because of the climate,
there's always lots of construction. But aside from rare occasions, I can
deal with it without wanting to kill someone. When I'm sitting in traffic
in the Chicago area, I want to kill everyone. I dream of tornados sucking
up the entire state of Illinois and hurling it into outerspace, never to be
seen again. Of course this would happen during ProgPower or something when
Ray and Britt are safely in Atlanta. :)

It's not OCD, it's the way everyone should be. :)

I know! I'm still excited about it!

Well, I dunno about that, but I'm not going to complain. :)

That's something else I've thought of too - it'll be much less
cumbersome than my discman which I have to shove into my pocket. Getting to
see the track information would be nice, but if I'm working out, it's not
like I'll be looking for song titles anyway. For work, I can always email
myself the information if it's new stuff I'm not familiar with.

In fact, on my way home, I stopped at a gas station and bought two
tickets. But my luck must have been up by then. I guess I can't quit quite
yet!

I'm not particularly attached to Windows 98, I just haven't had a need
to upgrade up until now. I *have* been thinking about a new computer on and
off, and I may just go ahead and do it (but it won't be a Mac). I'm the
type of person who doesn't like to buy something unless I *need* it. I have
an old small tv that doesn't even work with my dvd player - the dvd player
has to go through the VCR to work with the TV. I could buy a new tv, but
mine works fine, so I don't need one. :) I don't really need a new
computer. Mine works fine. But it's pretty old and it was put together by
a friend of a friend and I barely know what's in it. The case was something
left over that he had and my hard drives are kind of just hanging around in
there, and the cd rom drives are sitting on top of each other, unsecure.
The cd burner mysteriously stopped working for about a month then started
working again. And it's not a simple matter of upgrading Windows, because
he set it up so the main hard drive with Windows was my old 1 gb hard drive,
and the new one I bought, the 40 gb one, has everything else on it. Windows
2000 or XP requires more space than that. I could work around that, back up
my stuff, put Windows on the bigger hard drive, and not have to buy anything
except maybe a new cd burner sooner or later. The part of me that says I
don't *need* a new computer says I should just do that. Then there's the
other part of me that says I'm going to need a new one eventually, and it
sure would be nice to have the flat panel monitor that comes with it, and I
may as well get all the nice new stuff in one purchase and be done with it.

As soon as I get to use it, I'll let you know. :)
