Bill Aucoin has announced that, in an amicable parting,
Peter Criss, the drummer and a founding member of KISS,
has resigned as a member of KISS in order to pursue a solo
career.
Citing his desire to explore a different musical direction at
this time as his sole reason for leaving the group, Peter
stressed that he has received overwhelming encouragement
from the remaining members of the group.
The three other members of KISS have demonstrated their support
of Peter's decision by insisting that he continue to have an equal
voice as a member of the KISS business partnership.
As such, he will be involved in all future decisions made by the band.
Peter will also he (sic) involved in other KISS related projects in
the future.
Peter is currently making plans to record his second solo album.
His first, Peter Criss, was part of the unprecedented simultaneous
release
of the solo albums by the four members of KISS in 1978.

And Ace ist still a KISS member?
