rather fight it out and be rid of them. Gitmo has
released quite a few that have been found on the
battlefields again.

Like I said, the choice of getting shot or spending
the rest of their lives in jail, even a fairly posh jail
ought to be a deterrent.

The number caught or getting shot is so miniscule that it is
probaby not a deterring factor.

The big question is whether
they're going to get caught or not. If they do, neither
of the two alternatives looks very attractive.

If they feared any repercussions, they wouldn't still
be taking ships and hostages. Apparently not even
the stepped up patrols have made any difference.
