Cap'n, ah need moor pow'r.

I'm runnin' it on two machines - one has home premium , the other
ultimate . It's OK , if your comp has plenty of RAM and a fairly fast
dual or quad-core processor . It *IS* a resource hog .
It has *excellent* parental controls and requires an admin password
to
install/change programs . Guess which two comps my g-kids are allowed
to play on ?

I havethe free upgrade disk sitting in a drawer behind me.
Got it mailed just after the release with my new (then) PC.
XP works just fine.
Don't need parental controls, my youngest is 26 and the oldest is a
network admin.
No grandkids.
My life is serene.
Sort of.

My desktop , server , and both laptops run XP Pro ... my personal choice .
One Vista box is Brenda's desktop , she doesn't care as long as it does what
she wants it to . The other is a "spare" that's being prepped for a media
center . Still need a tuner card and another bigass SATA HDD . Media Center
is supposed to be The Cat's Ass for a home entertainment center setup .

Snag
Or I could stream off my son's newest comp .
3Gb/sec quad core ,
8 Gb RAM
2Tb storage
Runnin' 64 bit Vista Ultimate .
Asus MoBo and AMD proc. IIRC
