I'm not doubting you had trouble with a Ford. But I worked for years as a
professional engine builder. Your "proof" does not hold up to real-world
reality.
I've seen Chevys with multiple hundreds of thousands of miles with no real
trouble, and I've seen them fall apart before 50,000 miles (remember the Vega?)
Fords too. Let's not get into the HD thing. I'm sure somewhere there's a
Goldwing group that has a rescue truck follow them on all road trips. I just
haven't seen them yet.
A chevy
otoh doesn't quit if you do regular maintince.
Is that anything like maintenance? If so, I'd add the qualifier "if you're
lucky". Once that qualifier is added, it fits any make.
