There will be a major change no matter what happens. The Democrats are posed to
take over the majority in the Congress in a way that will prevent filibusters.
It will be to the advantage of this country if the White House stays in
Republican hands, if only to prevent the extremists of the Democratic Party from
swinging us to the far left.

Do not confuse McCain for George Bush. He'll be his own man... just as George
wasn't his daddy (GHWB, unfortunately).

I've seen what happens when one party controls everything. It's not pretty.
Don't think for an instant that the Democrats will be any better if they get to
control it all.

And to address the point of this whole thread, I *have* voted already...
absentee. The absentee ballot, btw, provides you with a way to write in a new
candidate. I don't know how they'd do it with voting machines.
