You have a rare example, it seems. The problem with Japs was that they
build their big bore four stroke bikes like they were some lightweight
two-strokes, which they were not. This, and the "quality" of materials
used, the "quality" of welding and the "quality" of suspension
components. Why, Katanas and EFEs share the fork diameter with GS500,
AFAIR...

You're not completely right here. The quality of the materials was good

They used seamed tubes. Not exactly a top notch.

Good enough.

It's not the power which creates problems, it's the weight. Dragracers
will very rarely invest their time in frame bracing and they can get
away with it fine. Frame stiffness becomes a problem mostly under
braking.

Again, nonsense.

If it's really bad, also in corners.

Now, I simplified it, even taking in account my level of understanding
of those issues. It just makes sense to me to concentrate on the most
typical source of frame deformation without going into every detail I
can come up with which contributes. Though I'll be glad to listen to
whatever you may be willing to add.

I have news for you: Chassis flex under power.

Have you ever ridden a 1970s/80s era Laverda? An old Kawasaki triple? A
bevel drive Ducati? An old Brit twin? A Kawasaki Z900/1000? An old
Suzuki GS750/850/1000? A Honda CB750? A 1000cc Gold Wing?

Nope. None of them. Those bikes are quite rare in Poland. Plenty of
bendy-framed MZs, though.

I think your comments would bear more validity if you had ridden
something more than just MZs.
