* Literature: "You ***!" David Sims study on organizational
indignation:
* Nutrition: Pleasant sounds improve the taste of food
* Medicine: placebos that cost more work better.
* Economics: strippers earn more when they are at peak fertility.
* Archeology: armadillos can wreak havoc on digs. I
* Chemistry: Coca-Cola is an effective spermicide.
Each wins a handcrafted plaque:
This Ig Nobel Prize is awarded in the year 2008 to an
Ig Nobel Prize winner, in recognition of the Ig Nobel Prize
winner's Ig Nobel Prize-winning achievement

When we get to "placebos that cost more work better",

My favorite though has got to be "plants have dignity".
There must be a plant "collective brain" where each plant represents a single
neuron.
