Ever. (going pee there is okay, but only if it's the only
place around.)
Elitist snob. ;->
I've been in some small towns in the deep south where I was
practically *overjoyed* to find a McDonald's, because you can
be certain that it's going to be relatively clean and that you
won't have to wrestle your entree three falls out of five.
Damn straight. Not to mention the fact that a
Mickey D's can be a REALLY welcome sight
after riding a couple of hours early on a cold
morning, and knowing that you can get an Egg
McMuffin meal with a hot cuppa coffee within
a couple minutes of setting yer frozen feet in the
place...
Denny's works for that too, even if it's just for the coffee. Iis
did th
on my first trip, which started with a three hour ride to Fresno
starting at 4am in April. Brrrrr...
I prefer IHOP myself for breakfast. Denny's I dunno they just don't
appeal to me. Never saw a Friday's in my life.
IHOP ain't bad. Saugus Cafe (in my nieghborhood) does pancakes,
bacon
hash browns better. And I do the international crepe type pancakes
better myself, having been raised by a Swedish father and Danish
mother.
But if one is after a real Scandinavian breakfast, one must ride the
San Marcos Pass, past Lake Cachuma to Solvang - to get some real
breakfast!
Mmmmm... Aebelskiver!
Still you got my point as to preference for sit down food while
traveling, yes?
Anything to get off the saddle once an hour for a *** break...
