Notice, zillionth time here. Hello, knock, knock...I do not want a
bike of that power and price range. Again, clearly mentioned that
fact in a previous post. Reading comprehension has now gone
completely down the drain. HAHAHAHA

J.S.

Yeah, right, you expect to ride 5 days a week for 50 weeks each of three
years. Where do you live? The Garden of Eden? Because no matter where you
live in the States it will be either too cold/snow, too hot or too wet. Or
your bike/scooter will be in the shop. Sometimes it will be in the shop for
weeks, depending on the season or the repair. Unless of course you suck
your mechanics dick, then he'll have it ready by next Tuesday. And don't
forget to suck the parts guy's dick also, without parts your ride is dead in
the water.

Sheesh. You think 35hp is a lot of power? And good used KLRs can be had
for $3500.

And I know all about claims of high fuel mileage with scooters. And after
your mythical 27000 miles in 3 years I can ASSURE you that you'll be seeking
a new/better motorcycle/scooter.

So do you have a short list of bikes/scooters in your price range that meet
your requirements. Given your height and weight it should be a VERY short
list.

Let's see you want:

70mpg (That alone eliminates ALL motorcycles sold in the states)
new and about $3k ((that eliminates all scooters that'll do 45-50mph and fit
you)
big enough for a big guy (that eliminates all small (250-600cc) metric
croozers

And you are afraid of the power and price of a KLR650 all 35hp.

Sucks to be you. There ain't no bikes that suit your needs.
