Cop school teaches that all criminals are young and that geezers are supposed to be protected and served.

Statistically, that notion isn't too far off. I seem to remember a statistic that 70% of people in prison are under 27 (or something like that). As one gets older, the propensity to commit crime decreases.

Unfortunately, many didn't start riding until they retired (recently) so they have little experience but are too proud to go to MSF school.

As far as I'm concerned, the MSF school should be mandatory. Already know how to ride, or think you do? Then you should go through the class easily.
