This is about 8 times the incarceration rate of Germany.

However, if taking up residence in a Crowbar Hotel becomes unavoidable,
try to make it posh in Rhode Island -- but avoid Loosiana where they'll
budget only a pittance for your room and board.

Of course another half-star-only accommodation is Joe's Tent Village
in Phoenix. Here's the satellite view. I wonder if mid summer gets
so hot there that you could fry his green baloney on the

If we can lock up the entire popluation (except for me and those I
choose worthy of freedom like factory workers, food service employees
and folks to do my laundry and gardening), we can end crime as we know
it.

That's pathetic - 1% of all Americans. I think they attributed it to
sentencing guidelines that lengthen sentences. Are we really a nation
of criminals or is it because we lock up folks who shouldn't be locked
up? I would hope the latter, but who knows, maybe we're the Australia
of tomorrow.

Point out another country that has our street-gang problem,
**AND** tries to do something about it ( as opposed to the several
examples in SA and Africa, or Mexico, etc), that have extreme crime
problems and DON'T do anything about it.

Oh. Wow. The US is better than Mexico at something. I'm so impressed.
The United States is the *greatest* country in the world. Compare it to
other free nations, not to turd world nations!
