My son was out riding this past weekend. A guy in a truck pulls up
next to him and flips something at my son that hits him in the helmet.
My son said it sounded like a quarter. Then the guy in the truck sped
away like he's going to a fire and jumped on the interstate. My son
couldn't get his license plate, but remembers the truck and feels
he'll be back at that same location next weekend (it's place where
young people hag out in cars/trucks/bikes). He reported it to the
police today, I believe.
The quarter won't kill anybody but it might be enough to spook a
lesser exp rider into making a really bad move at the wrong time. The
cager can just cruise on down the road, looking back at his handiwork.
Anybody heard of this type of harrassment before?
As for this coming weekend, I think I'll hang out at this place
myself.
