Parenthood - everybody knows that. It's a euphemism for
population control. When you're in the business of killing for
profit, compliance with the law isn't foremost on your to-do
list.
Because of your obviously Christian morals we're certain that
you'll be a great adoptive parent for the three thousand two
hundred and sixty three unwanted minority babies that are now
on
the way to your doorstep, C.O.D. We're sure that you'll want to
take out a second, third, and forth mortgage on your home to
pay
for the best upbringings that money can buy!
Ya see, if ya wanna impose your religious beliefs on the rest
of
the world, you're gonna have to pay for the results, one way or
another.
road,
legalized abortion will be seen as a great abomination by future
socities just as we view Hitler's elimination of 12 million
souls, the Roman's practice of throwing people to the lions for
entertainment, the ancient Mayans' practice of cutting out the
hearts from live victims for sacrifice, the decimation of native
Americans first from disease and later via state-sponsored
elimination, indiscriminate bombings by religious bigots, and
other grotesque events with which we find our human history
laden.
I do not believe that abortion will be hailed as the single
great
break-through in human history, the one great ideal that the
entire human race can be proud of. Or maybe you disagree and
feel
that abortion is the one great accomplishment of mankind. If so,
I'd liek to see you defend that position.
And with climate warming accepted by many as scientific fact, it
will provide to some all the more reason to decrease the
population.

topic and by the same token, neither am I allowed an opinion; that
"abortion" is so sacrosanct as to make null and void any opinions?
Is that truly what you are saying?
But, please don't be egotistical enough to believe that your
opinion
is worth any more than anyone else's. Don't try to force other
people
to live according to your opinions.
By
simply espousing it, I am egotistical and forcing people to live
according to my opinion. Is this what you are saying?
If not then how am I being egotistical and how am I forcing people
to
live according to my opinion? Give me the secret to forcing people
to
live by my opinion and I'll rule the world :)-
but he's going to generate a lot of misery before somebody finally
succeeds in getting him to stop trying.
If there is enough consensus that abortion is harmful to society then
there will be a Constitutional Amendment to allow it to be banned in
the US.
Bullsh... War kills young people. Has war been outlawed? Driving under
the influence is the single largest contributing factor to accidents.
Is alcohol illegal?
So you think abortion is legal because it is helpful to society?
Stated slightly differently, because it's not that harmful to society?
Did you know that nearly 68,000 women and girls die yearly worldwide
from abortions? And that "Yet, regardless of legal status, abortions
still occur, and nearly half of them are performed by an unskilled
practitioner or in less than sanitary conditions, or both."
http://www.prb.org/Reports/2006/UnsafeAbortionFactsandFigures2006.aspx
Does that not tell you how desperate those women are, to not have to carry that fetus to term, and then to raise that child? That they would risk their lives, their health, and even their immortal souls, according to the church?
Yet you would have all pregnant women carry those children to term. I suppose that because many - if not most - of those aborted fetuses will be unwanted, abused, and ultimately die of neglect, then that will then be a good thing?
And the state often must intervene to rescue those children from their unfit mothers. Is this a good thing? Will these children even be successful in life? Damn few ever are.
Abortion is legal because it's big business.
This is an unbelievably nonsensical statement.
Abortion is legal because women want the right to abort fetuses that may die young, may never have a life, may be the result of a rape, may be doomed to a life of hopelessness and so on.
Go ask yourself how abortion became legal in the US. Look up Roe vs. Wade. Was it BIG BIZ that brought the suit?
War is big business.
Alcohol is big business. No matter how much woe they cause, they're
money makers.
People have a right to choose. No matter what someone else - you included - may think is "good for them".
Things aren't as neat and pat as you might think.
If you want to try to create such a consensus be my guest.
But you're not going to succeed if you try to do it by criminal means,
Huh? What criminal means do you propose I use to create a consensus,
which usually means an agreement of some kind.
or by asserting that people who are obeying the law are criminals.
And if you come to my door, I'm going to slam it in your face.\
I'll be at your house tomorrow and everyday after that until you agree
to my consensus... and not only me, but 33,345 abandoned refugees,
300,000 babies, and 34 homeless folks with fully-filled shopping carts
from DC.
The Almighty must so love the infants; He kills half of them in the womb. Or maybe you'll blame the women for losing babies when they had no idea they were pregnant?

Enjoy organizing that march. You can't even get that many to sing "Onward Christian Soldiers" together. And the anencephalic infants will never learn the words...
