One last thought... I firmly believe that centuries down the
road,
legalized abortion will be seen as a great abomination by future
socities just as we view Hitler's elimination of 12 million
souls, the Roman's practice of throwing people to the lions for
entertainment, the ancient Mayans' practice of cutting out the
hearts from live victims for sacrifice, the decimation of native
Americans first from disease and later via state-sponsored
elimination, indiscriminate bombings by religious bigots, and
other grotesque events with which we find our human history
laden.

I do not believe that abortion will be hailed as the single
great
break-through in human history, the one great ideal that the
entire human race can be proud of. Or maybe you disagree and
feel
that abortion is the one great accomplishment of mankind. If so,
I'd liek to see you defend that position.

And with climate warming accepted by many as scientific fact, it
will provide to some all the more reason to decrease the
population.

others on this issue. Nor do I have the right.

topic and by the same token, neither am I allowed an opinion; that
"abortion" is so sacrosanct as to make null and void any opinions?

Have an opinion and by all means live by it.
But, please don't be egotistical enough to believe that your
opinion
is worth any more than anyone else's. Don't try to force other
people
to live according to your opinions.

simply espousing it, I am egotistical and forcing people to live

Osama isn't going to succeed in getting people to live by his opinion,
but he's going to generate a lot of misery before somebody finally
succeeds in getting him to stop trying.

If there is enough consensus that abortion is harmful to society then
there will be a Constitutional Amendment to allow it to be banned in
the US. If you want to try to create such a consensus be my guest.
But you're not going to succeed if you try to do it by criminal means,
or by asserting that people who are obeying the law are criminals.
And if you come to my door, I'm going to slam it in your face.
