Soon as you clowns get through playing usenet.. maybe you can
make a trip and try to teach Binns how to downshift that new motorcycle
he's fantasizing about.. Whups.. I forgot.. ya'll don't think much of
the
"value" of downshifting, do you.. Well.. better be careful with all
these
new bikes you are usenetting over.. I understand they all require some
downshifting skill..

Well, Bill, as long as we can brake, we won't have to worry about
repeatedly crashing our bike, like you have!

Huh ? This old Vulcan of mine is going on eleven years old.. Bought
the old thing new and it stills runs and looks real good, for all the
years
and miles that I've put on it..

Now Bill, didn't I just recently read about you executing one of those
picture perfect stops, where you had the rear wheel sliding out both
ways, while you downshifted to regain traction, all the time going
hard on the front and rear brakes alternately, ending up with the Ol
Green One grinding plastic and shiny parts on the asphalt with you
doing a double gainer before landing on the road?

ROTFLMAO.. Been googling you ass off, huh ? Yeah, you did..
There's been a few crashes down here in Texas, this year.. Not
much telling how many crashes were avoided..

I am sure it was a masterful display of riding skills, but I suspect
the disconnect in how we look at these things is we just have a
different definition of what "perfect" means.

No doubt.. <chuckle>

By the way, all bull*** aside I am glad you were not hurt.

Any crash a man walks away from without injury or damage to
someone else is a lucky one..
