I prefer the adhesive tape because it's small, can be used to tape
up wires, can be used to secure stuff that's falling off, can be
used for first aid and I'm carrying it anyway.
Multi-tasking is a must in my saddlebags.
I cut a ~10" piece of window blind, then wrapped it a bunch of times
with duct tape. It takes up almost no space at the bottom of my bags.
