It depends on what it was.

Such plans have been put forward and the technology for shading the
earth from the sun is probably closer to reality than a cleaner energy
source.

So are you firm enough in your commitment to the greenhouse gas theory
to accept an artificial, man made engineered solution to shade the
earth?

That's not the only solution.
