I've had the bike for about 4 years now and when I first bought it the
front brake master cylinder didn't want to work but was coaxed into
working after a little work and new fluid. Just recently I pulled it
out again and noticed the front brake wouldn't work.
So I pulled the brake lever/master cylinder off and tore it apart and
tryed to clean and inspect it. It still doesn't work, and it seems to
want to suck more than it wants to push any fluid. i tryed bleeding the
cylinder but that didn't do anything as I couldn't get it to bleed. any
suggestions? the o-ring and cup looked in good condition, they weren't
torn or pitted and still pliable. did I install it wrong when I put it
back together?
If you live in or near a good sized city, find a salvage yard and
they'll usually guarantee it to work outright or up to 90 days. And
there's pretty of those old Honda still lying around just gathering
dust.
