In article <c1p8a252hj6drv7lksun57ht968jjlsh7e@xxxxxxx>, sean says...

Is there a dipstick in the "oil gauge" when it is removed?
Is there oil on the dipstick, and how large in diameter is
the hole the dipstick (if any) threads into?
The electrical portion of the manual for this machine was
shot through with flat-out mistakes. It would not be too
large a stretch of the imagination to consider that the
exact word choice the writers used to describe the oil
fill port would be equally incorrect.
