If I buy a
bike that burns gas faster than my car, what's the fricking POINT of
that,
exactly?
The point is fun, but since you don't rider for fun, the point is
wasted.
I'm with you there.
You don't buy a bike with money, you buy it with your heart.

Hey, I said I usually don't ride for fun. On the weekends, I look for
excuses to ride. Sometimes I make them up. :) But 95% of the miles I put
on my ride is commuting. I guess you could look at those miles as pleasure
riding, as I really look forward to the commute now. Somehow, I don't see a
Harley anything as a commuter. A couple coworkers in another state commute
on harleys, but they live close enough to work that they could WALK, so I'm
not sure that counts. I mean ***, the engine isn't even warm by the time
they park. -Dave
