spokes vs alloy

This is an engineering question. How does the strength to mass ratio
of spoked wheels compare to typical alloy wheels? I know that alloy
wheels come in so many different designs that this is a complicated
question. Also there are several guages of spokes in use.

Also, is it possible to fashion a spoked wheel that accepts tubeless
tires? I would expect that in this day and age, the modern tubeless
is a superior tire on the road (run cooler, longer life, stronger,
more traction, etc). Or is my expectation wrong?

It's OK. You only broke your leg in three places. Walk it off.
