I've seen the same on a much twistier mountain road
here in the bay area.[1] The only way the truck could
navigate the road was to _completely_ take up both
lanes on certain corners. And a fair number were
blind.

We used to live five miles up a one lane goatpath
where you always had to ask what kind of truck
they were sending delivery stuff up in. The guys who
drove propane and log trucks could drive the whole
road one handed, but anybody else was a disaster.

Worst we ever had was a bozo who tipped a whole
lumber truck on its side. Then while everybody
was out looking at the tipped over lumber truck, two
kids blundered into a nest of yellowjackets who promptly
attacked the crowd.
