How about the whole article where Motorcycle.com compared the Blast to a
number of other value bikes? Have a read:

It's dated, written in 2000, but certainly an objective review.
For what it's designed to do, the Blast seems like a good bike. Break
it in right, do the maintenance, and don't ask it to do sustained 85mph
runs for hours and hours on end and it'll likely stand up pretty well.
