I don't have my Drag book, but I think the S&S motors are more than
that unless sand cast. The revtec ones are cheaper, but I don't have
quotes.

It seems that a lot of people have done the re-furb. I would get a
quote from a HD dealer for a new evo, rebuild, and take a look online
for S&S and others.
