You are horribly misinformed. Because of luddites like you we have to
suffer from air and water pollution and global warming. You are running
scared from the boogie man of nuclear power, while apparently ignoring
all the "injuries and horrible, lingering deaths" caused by
conventional, coal-fired power plants.

Do you think all the crap that comes out of power plant smokestacks
just disappears? One statistic I saw claims that 10,000 deaths PER YEAR
are attributable to pollution from coal burning. How many people have
nuclear power plants killed?

Not only that, but coal also contains trace amounts of uranium and
other radioactive elements. Mining coal for conventional power plants
brings more radioactivity to the surface than mining uranium for
nuclear power plants! And guess where all that radioactivity ends up
when coal is burned?

Opposition to nuclear power is one of the most retarded things I have
ever seen, especially coming from people and organizations who are
