You are really funny and yet have a strange sense of humor at the same
time. Speaking german? That is hilarious.

You equate a bit of cloth as somehow being the cornerstone of what the US
is all about. Bits of cloth do not the USA make. Rights are rights and
the truth is the truth no matter how unpopular or wrong you or I deem it
be.

Here is a hypothetical question. If Washington DC were bombed today and
everything destroyed including the Declaration and the Constitution would
the US cease to exist? If every major city were reduced to dust would the
US cease to exist? If the goverment were to totally collapse would the US
cease to exist? The answser to all those questions is no provided that the
basic ideas of the constitution were to be upheld and someone stood there
proud to be an American. As long as there is one person left that holds
the idea that all men are created equal, have certain rights, then the US
is still alive. You can burn all the bits of cloth, you can even kill
people and descimate a government, but the US will remain. why? Because
the USA is an idea, an ideal and a belief. You cannot destroy that unless
you kill everyone that thinks that the USA is a pretty neat idea and
destroy all record of it ever having existed.

I think you have the whole idea about dying for your country wrong. The
goal in warfare is not to die for your country but to make the other SOB
die for his.

I wish you the best and a long and happy life. I really do. I just wish
you weren't so hung up on a bit of cloth or a piece of paper because cloth
and paper will rot and fade away to dust leaving nothing behind. It is the
spirit of America that will likely persist long after the memory of that
bit of cloth or paper is gone. Too bad you cannot see that fact or will
not see it.

When you say that we no longer recall with honor those that fought for this
country who the hell are you talking about? Speak for yourself.

Good luck!

I do have one question. Why are you using a Canadian ISP?
