80 miles x 5 days x 50 weeks = 20,000 miles.
20,000 miles @ 25 mpg @ $3/gal = $2400.
20,000 miles @ 60 mpg @ $3/gal = $1000.
Gasoline Savings: $1400 a year.
Used Savage $ 2600
Insurance $100/year.
Breakeven in 2 years.
Longer if you drive the cage in bad weather.
In my case, in addition to gas, I am also saving about $300 a month
in car payments as I do not have a cage. Bike has paid for itself in
under a year.
