XV750SE rear shock absorber pressure?

Hi, this is on my 1981 Yamaha - which in the service manual says on
page 5-36 that the air pressure in the (single large) rear shock
should be 4 bar (57 psi). In the diagram on page 7-62 it says 1 bar
(14 psi) in the 'standard aire' position on the remote adjuster.

Now I have no remote adjuster - just a filler valve dangling near the
swing arm. Presumably the remote adjuster died and was removed!

So, how much air pressure should there be in the shock?

TIA
