But you point that out in this group and not a private email, which suggests it's not to me you're pointing it out...
Dude, let's review, you wrote in a world-wide and very public forum of your wishes that the guy get hurt, or worse, for no other reason than you object to how he reacted to your beloved OEM's unwillingness to participate in a series which they demanded. Stunning to say the least!
I see you're spinning that story as well, typical. Frankly, I was hoping that the OEMs would reject the bone DMG threw them, because I think even as small as that was, it would be taken away shortly. I think their series has limited chances of success if they don't have the Japanese OEMs and also a notable number of the current tracks. That's the way it's looking right now, so there's still hope...
So, in your world it's okay to wish "grievous bodily harm" upon anyone that disrupts your particular brand of entertainment?
I can wish what I want, it has no impact at all on it actually happening.
Clue; Some may think you a fool, writing crap like you did only removes all doubt..
Tom, go back and look at all the times that you've thrown threats of physical violence my way just for what I've written and then repeat your self-righteous stand about people who "wish grievous bodily harm" on others.
I mean, I've wished you weren't such a lying, manipulative ***, but has that done anything? Not that I can see...
Why? Because I told you damn near exactly how this was gonna play out from the opening kickoff?
I'm hardly limiting that to this particular subject. And on that claim, I think you should go back to mid-June of last year, under "Catalunya Spoiler", to see what I was predicting a series run out of Daytona would look like. And as for your claims, they've been amazingly general and hardly consistent. For instance, you've claimed at various times that all or some of the Japanese factories would knuckle under and cave to DMG's will, and we have yet to see any of them do that. The one thing you've said that I'd absolutely agree with is that things would get worse before they get any better.
(and in reality,he's done nothing of the sort!)
That I'll concede - he's all about "entertainment"...
Versus exhibition? BTW, today was a perfect example, Tommy and the Yosh boxes are back, how thrilling!..
Versus racing. It's not the series' fault that Suzuki has the best bikes and best riders, is it? Or that Hodgson and Hacking crashed? That Tommy finished 30 seconds behind Mladin says it's hardly all about the bikes. Would you suggest that the AMA step in a legislate against the Suzukis, sticking them with extra weight or restrictors or something? Or just pick on Yosh and not the other Suzukis? Because that's what the DMG rules provide for, so you must be for it.
What's next, you gonna start hopingRossi gets hurt? After all, I'm sure he's fucked up your "entertainment" a few times too!
Nice attempt to get all the Rossi-pheliacs on your side. But, no, Rossi is a racer and not a worthless, ego-stuffed suit.
Last week he was a dirty racer too, at least according to you..
And this week he still is, I'm fairly sure...
But he chooses to *** with me in a sense, blindly and from a distance, and strikes me as an arrogant *** "salesman" who's had a long, good life that's made him rich or at least reasonably well off.
He's fucking with you? Hmmm...
And a lot of other people, in that limited context.
Who? Name names!
Pretty much anyone who likes real racing and isn't sold on the AMA series being replaced with some Euro-American spec club championship. Don't tell me you haven't read anything about that? I know you've read some of the posts here.
Racing has completely blown up here, and now he'd going to go spend the next week cruising the country on his damned Harley.
So, is it him, his Harley, or both that stirs your hatred?
Think of the Harley as frosting on the cake...
Heheh, then I'd imagine you really aren't gonna go for next year!
Good guess.
Ahh c'mon, we both know it's more than that, don't hold back, go ahead and get it off your chest, you'll feel better even if there's still not gonna be a FSB exhibition next year.. (heheh, you soooo easy!;-)
Careful, Tom, you're starting to lose it...
Don't get all thin skinned on me now Mark, after all, you started this round off without gloves, so don't cry if you take a punch, or 12, besides, it's raining here and there's no Oly stuff on I'm interested in..
Maybe you'd go for some oily stuff instead? I'm sure you could find some...
Maybe I need to start lying around here, that's building some credibility, T3-style...
Maybe, just maybe you need to come to terms with the fact that you don't know much about US racing beyond your little slice of it, then again, that's prolly waaaay tooo much to hope for..
And maybe you need to realize your view is hopelessly distorted by your Daytona-colored glasses. It's funny how you can make those claims when essentially no one here has supported your view of things. Hell, half the time you won't even support your own views...
Is that technically true? You want racing to be full-contact, no holds barred, and people would get hurt there, no doubt. You accept and probably want racing in southern bowls, and people will get hurt there as well.
Southern bowls? You mean DIS(TWICE!!), Homestead, R/A, Bamaham and VIR? Versus what, 'Guna, Sears and Fontucky? Get real!! Hey, betcha Streets of Willow is open! (heheh;-)
Once a cracker, always a cracker...
Especially if he's working out of Daytona...
I tried to tell ya'......
The clouds part and the sun shines through...
Actually, they parted a few months back just about the time that "train left the station," sorry you missed it..
Oh, I think it was long before that, years, actually...
Anyway, I just included that little bit to see if you'd pick it up and run with it, or if you'd actually stick to discussing the matter at hand.
Like wishing someone you don't know Jack *** about would get hit by a semi while on a trip across the country? Tell me, you want a cabover to take him out, or are you wishing for a more conventional Mac type to do the dirty work?
Let me get back to you on that. Triple trailer would be good, though - thump, thump, thump...
