her quote was "i put it on ebay". which she did. while it didn't make
reserve and sell on ebay it was then sold through other means. but her
intent was still there. to sell the plane, when it didn't sell online it
was disposed of through a broker. so yes, she did put it on ebay.

After re-reading several articles......

I concede that she did indeed state that she had put it on e-bay. Assumptions
were made by others commenting on her remarks (those I read also)....I also had
those assumptions.

so, if you listen to the words and apply middle school reading
comprehension, there was no lie told. to call it that is to put purposeful
spin on the truth.

I did much better in English in college than I did in high school......

Might want to read one of the articles I did.......wasn't her that claimed it
was sold on e-bay. It was frikkin John McCain himself, and he claimed she sold
it at a profit.

This is somehow better I guess.....

The VP candidate didn't lie about the airplane, the the presidential candidate
sure did....

to juxtapose her statement with clinton's little tale under oath in the
midst of a federal investigation is like comparing ted kennedy's little run
off the chappaquid*** bridge to ronald regan falling off his horse.

And using Teddie's bridge thing isn't anywhere near the same. Nobody died when
Bill got his blowjob. I hope??????

And although Bill lied under oath, he was charged with that and acquitted. I
don't think he was any more innocent than OJ......but he wasn't found guilty of
the charges.

I'm thinking that folks seemed to get all *** hurt that Clinton lied about
***, but can't believe that Bush, Cheney, Palin, McCain may have too......

If their lies are OK.....then all the lies are OK. Should there be a double
standard??? I don't think so....

Kinda like Rove talking down Tim Kaine's (Governor of Virginia) qualifications,
but then pumping up Palin's (which are less) a month later.......

It's all bull***......

i hope i addressed that without any political connotations that will ensue
in irrational arguments.

Nahhhh................arguments don't start out irrational, but they often end
up that way.....
