If we're doomed, it's inevitable. There's not a single damned thing
humanity can do, or a whole raft of things together, that will change
the combined natural cycles that the Earth is going through, I tell
ya. All this attribution to man's activities is poppy***. It's been
hotter than it is now, without any "human activities," or even humans
present, and it's been a damned-sight colder; many times, in the
couple-a-billion years this electron we're riding on has orbited that
atomic nucleus we call the Sun. Yeah, that's what the solar system
(atom) is, BTW, justone atom in one molecule (the Milky Way Galaxy)
and along with all of the billions and billions of galaxies we can
see, comprise the tiniest corner of a dog turd left on the front step
of the courthouse in another "dimension" so vast that our minds can't
even conceive of it. Wait'll you die, you'll see. "You will wish
yourself to distant orbs in a moment." Just a sidebar, there. Sorry.
Just like nineteenth century "scientists," the "Global Warming"
Chicken Littles started with the presumption that what is, just _is_,
and isn't supposed to change, so ennything that _does_ change must be
OUR FAULT!
So, Algore, the energy sucking utility pig with the "carbon
footprint," of his mansion in Tennessee, his limos and his private
jets, the size of of Godzilla's sneakers, comes out with a completely
bass-ackwards attribution of human carbon-dioxide emission for the
warming of the atmosphere, like we could actually _do_ anything to
change the global average temperature, when thar's solid science that
says increases in carbon dioxide historically aren't the cause of
warming, but a product of it. Algore is the poster-boy for an all-new
way to sucker humanity to make money. Hell, he won the Nobel Prize and
an Oscar already from the pussies.
The orbits of the planets (meaning the distance for the light/heat
to travel to us from the Sun) and the tilt of the Earth's axis, and
even (probably mainly) the Sun's long heating and cooling cycle are
the reasons for the natural cycle we're entering. F all this "greenie'
offal! If we're doomed, it's only because we can't adapt to natural
changes. The Midwest won't be the Breadbasket of the World much
longer. That will happen, but we won't stop the changes, only learn to
modify ourselves and our behaviors as a result of them. You can't hold
back nature, only accommodate it.
People look a school globes and think humankind somehow "owns" this
planet, and is actually capable of making a real change occur. Ever
hear of the "Little Ice Age?" (c.1100-1850) That was only the most
recent variation in it.Algore's charts themsrlves prove it.
We ARE doomed, actually, and that will be when the super-cauldera
known as Yellowstone National Park blows it's top, and that's due/
overdue. That's capable of end ing civiliation-as-we-know-it on this
planet. The floor of the 45 mile-wide valley has risen measurable in
just the last century. Something's building up.
