I do that all the time. Even in the cage. If someone is too stupid to
realize that they are sitting in my blind spot, or that they've put me
into theirs, I make a move. Of course in heavy traffic, that more
often than not means slowing down, not speeding up <sfsf>. In light
traffic, OTOH, WOT for a 1/4 mile will do just fine.
WOT is how I usually do it. <sfsf> However, this is on rural 4 lane
roads usually with light traffic. Which makes it even more stoopider
that they won't pass me.
Same here. WOT in rush hour to get away from the bastards. This is on
I-270 with five lanes of traffic going my direction. At least I
time-shift my work so as to miss most of rush hour.
On the interstate on long trips, when some cage is passing me and
taking forever to do it, I just brake a little to kick off the cruise
and let 'em pass. They're obviously just stuck on cruise control, and
don't bother to add a little gas to get by me quicker, which is what I
do, especially when passing semi's.
Shirley, all this talk has made me thirsty. A round for all of us on
my tab, please.
