Then I guess I can conclude that you failed to find it interesting.then perhaps that's what you should have written.
A "That guys full of ***, but he dresses nice" would have sufficed.
I have to admit, it does puzzle me that you seem to object to what I wrote, yet found it necessary to quote all of it.
Nah, never objected to anything you said.
I mean, thanks for the boost and all, but if you want to suggest that I was being, oh, I don't know, maybe _verbose_ would be the word, and that my writing would be improved by an emphasis on terseness a la Hemingway rather than a more expanded sort of exposition like Huxley or Bryant, why in the world wouldn't you make use of the simple and direct method of snipping my reply rather than quoting it whole and then adding your comment?
Inquiring minds and all...
I haven't objected to anything you've posted. I find most of your
posts either informative or entertaining.
But I've been kept pretty busy just bobbin and weaving to avoid the
head slaps you and Larry seem to liked to apply to anyone who may have
an opinion contrary to your own.
As far as the length of your posts; that's your business. It's your
time to do as you wish with it.
Nobody, except the folks profiting from it, like high fuel costs.
I'd rather read suggestions for viable solutions though, than just
repetition of the causes. IMHO the biggest reason we find ourselves in
this situation is all the anti drilling legislation, no refineries in
my back yard sentiments and the environmental wackos in general.
If I had the solution to the problem, I'd be sitting in Washington. So
I don't claim to have solutions, but I do have opinions. And 30 or
more years of restricting the development of our own resources has got
to end.
Ah, suggestions for solutions?
Refer to Brother Easy's reference to H.L. Mencken, regarding hoisting the black flag.
