Tom, Ive seen your post on the original thread and not knowing if'n
there's some history there, I don't think a finger is beign pointed at
any one person/s. What I saw was close to a hundred people having a
grand ol' time and one dragged assed dude and his ol' lady picking up
after everyone. In the original post I mentioned a couple of young
dudes and their girlfriends that looked out of place. I've met Roger
briefly at MISFIT but other than that, this man don't know me for
***. Luckily some others do and can speak on my behalf as I would
respond for you and all who know you. It's a bummer to be violated as
he has and I think anyone would be feeling the same. I missed ya there
brudder but will catch ya anudder time. Not beign a big drinker I
assigned meself the designated drunk driver task and took a few folks
to the hotel and I can bet all they took was a good time. There were
lots of things laying around that I felt sould have been placed more
securely. *** WTF do I know, I'm just visitin'. Had someone seen the
pilfering, there is no DOUBT he would have been delt with harshly. I
hope the word gets around and all this will float the culprit. My
money is on a no RMH person.

Rico,
It's good of you to make yourself available for DDD tasks, & observant
of you that you noticed the folks that seemed out of place & unsecured items.
Thing is, that when you host an event of anything near that size you assume some
risk & you count on your friends & attendees to police themselves *& ANYONE THEY
BRING WITH THEM*.
I doubt anyone has room, or would take on the extra work to lock up
anything a thief might take. It's easier to just drop the event, or make it a
private party with people you *know* you can trust. Every year at my place
people bring others that I don't know. I *expect* them to be responsible for
those unknown guests. I'll take the ultimate responsibility, but if I have a
problem with someone that someone else brought I'll give the person they came
with first chance to correct the problem. After that I *may* throw both of 'em
out.......
Point is, events like this depend on the good will of the host & the
trust he can have in his guests. Brake either of those, for any reason, & the
event will fail.
